3rd International Teachers’ Conference has commenced

The third International Teachers’ Conference has commenced.
Organiser of this conference، National Institute of Education (NIE) said that the main aim of this conference is to share findings and different experiences of the field of education.
The theme of this conference which is to be held in Maldives National University today and tomorrow is ‘Technology enabled learning environment’. NIE says that in this conference، discussions about how to effectively teach in the 21st century and how to advance the teaching techniques using technology will be prioritised.
This conference is carried out in collaboration with a Malaysian university. The foreigners taking part in this conference are supposed to present papers to the participants. Moreover، the local participants are also expected to present papers under the theme of the conference.
Participated by a total of 200 individuals، this conference will highlight on the government’s policy to carry out teaching in such a way that no child gets left behind and how to involve each and every single child in a holistic education.
This conference was inaugurated today by Attorney General، Al-Ustad Mohamed Anil. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony، Anil said that through this conference، teachers will learn how to increase the tablets and skills of students with the help of technology.
