Minister for Foreign Affairs of Sweden، Margot Wallstrom، has departed from Wallström، after concluding her official visit.
Ms. Margot arrived in Maldives on Saturday evening. She was received at the Ibrahim Nasir International Airport (INIA) by the Foreign Secretary، Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed.
Later on Saturday evening، she met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Ms. Dunya Maumoon، and discussed strenthening relations and issues of common concern such as climate change.
On Sunday morning، Margot departed، seen off by the Foreign Secretary، Dr. Ali Naseer Mohamed.
Margot Elisabeth Wallström is a Swedish Social Democratic politician and has served as the country’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister since 3 October 2014.
