A team of officers from Maldives Police Service are at Laamu atoll Gan following a foreigner was found dead with injuries at a local residence this morning.
According to Police، they had received reports of a dead body a resident in Gan around 07:10hrs today morning. The deceased showed signs of bruises and injuries.
The body was found on a mattress at the veranda of the residence.
Reports say the man is believed to has been dead for over 24 hours as the sign of decomposing was seen.
“Vaguthu Online” has learned that the deceased body was found from an uninhabited resident at the island. The departed expatriate، had been assigned with cleaning the vacant resident، and lives at a different resident.
