Bank of Maldives (BML) announced it will be providing general services from its branches on Sunday, 19 April and Monday, 20 April.
The branches of BML will be opened from 09:30hrs until 12:30hrs for the said two days, rending the said services;
Additionally, all ACH transfer requests lodged before 10:00hrs will be processed within the same date.
BML further confirmed all RTGS transfers (transactions above MVR100,000) will be processed within date of submission, if the request is submitted before 11:30hrs.
The national bank of Maldives had commenting cash transactions will remain unavailable during the current period, amid lockdown. However, permitted customers will be able to withdraw or deposit cash at the bank’s ATMs.
BML confirmed, permitted customers can deposit a maximum of MVR200,000 to business or corporate accounts and a maximum of MVR50,000 to personal accounts on a daily basis.
