BML installs additional ATM in Kulhudhuffushi

Bank of Maldives (BML) has installed an additional ATM in Haa Dhaalu Kulhudhuffushi.
The new ATM was inaugurated by CEO and Managing Director of BML Andrew Healy at a ceremony in the island today.
BML said in a statement that the ATM, located at Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital which is close to government offices and shopping areas in the island, will offer 24-hour access to banking services to the island community as well as to visitors.
Speaking at the ceremony, Andrew Healy said, “Establishing an additional ATM in Kulhudhuffushi demonstrates our commitment to improve service levels. As part of our broader strategy of financial inclusion, we will be expanding our banking services to more islands in this region before the end of the year.” The bank opened its branch in Kulhudhuffushi on 29 December 1991, and began ATM service on 20 June 2007. With 53 ATMs across the country, BML operates the largest ATM network in the Maldives. It recently waived the ATM withdrawal fee and the inter-bank transfer fee, and has announced plans to expand banking services to all inhabited islands.
