Nasheed is currently visiting islands in the south of Maldives on Maldivian Democratic Party’s (MDP) campaign trip Journey of Pledges.
Defence Minister Mohamed Nazim said today that it is MNDF’s procedure to withdraw security when requested.

Meanwhile, the Court has ordered Police to produce Nasheed in Court on Sunday for the trial pertaining to the illegal arrest of Criminal Court Judge Abdullah Mohamed, following which a special team of Police departed from Male’ this afternoon in search of Nasheed.
