Deputy Leader of Adhalath Party Sheikh Ali Zahir have said that the international community does not recognize that the affairs of Maldives are being conducted lawfully even though the government is releasing statements assuring lawful governance.
Speaking at a press conference held at M.Kunooz today Sheikh Ali Zahir said that foreign countries are aware of what is going on in the Maldives. He said that the opposition will share the situation of Maldives with the international community.
In addition, he said that the government fears that the opposition will share such information with the international community and assured that the government cannot continue to do unlawful acts forever.
Speaking in this regard, Ali Zahir said that even though the government supporters say that the opposition is trying to harm the country, they are doing what they do because they love the country. In addition he said that if a wrong is committed in Maldives there is no institution that will investigate it fairly.
