Villa College has launched a new book titled ‘Dhirasaakuraane Faseyha Goithah’, offering research tips for both students and lecturers.
The book was authored by Ahmed Fayaz Hassan, a former longtime civil servant, who is currently serving as the Senior Curriculum Developer at the Institute for Academic Development at Villa College.
The book was launched by Villa College’s Vice Rector Dr. Ali Najeeb during a special ceremony held at the College’s Ocean View Hall.
Villa College stated that the 208-page book serves as a comprehensive guide aimed at supporting students and lecturers in colleges and universities with academic research. The College added that the book offers detailed explanations of essential concepts in the Dhivehi language, helping to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.
The book, priced at MVR 175, is available for purchase at Villa College.
This marks the ninth book authored by Fayaz, whose first work, ‘World Cup Italy 1990, was published in the same year.
Fayaz has previously served as the vice president of the Elections Commission and the Police Board and the President’s Office’s chief of protocol.
