The registry for the land plot that houses the AA. Rasdhoo Police Station has gone missing.
The Rasdhoo Council made an announcement via the Government Gazette regarding the incident on Wednesday, stating that the disappearance of the land registry had been reported to the office.
The council asked for anyone with information regarding the registry to share it with the office within seven days.
While it is routine for councils make such announcements following the disappearance of land registry of private properties, it is not common for such announcements over the registry of state institutions.
A public announcement regarding missing registries is a formality that needs to be complemented before a new one can be issued.
