The Lit Fest 2025, a vibrant youth-focused festival celebrating creativity and artistic talent, will take place this weekend from 25 to 27 December at the Youth Hub.
Organised by the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts, the three-day event targets young people aged 14 to 20 and features an extensive lineup of hands-on creative activities, including handicrafts, baking, pastry making, clay art, henna art, calligraphy, embroidery, and accessories design.
The festival's live art segment will showcase digital art, 3D animation, singing, dancing, drumming, drama, freestyle performances, musical instrument playing, content creation, open mic sessions, stand-up comedy, and storytelling.
The Ministry will cover all activity-related arrangements and expenses, while providing administrative support to participants. The event is open to the public, and young creators will have the opportunity to sell their handmade products on site.
Children are welcome to join, provided they are accompanied by a parent. Interested participants can register by scanning the QR codes posted on the Ministry’s official social media platforms.
