Maldives condemns Israel’s decision to block humanitarian aid to Gaza

Maldives government has strongly condemned the Israeli government's decision to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the government called the action a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, international human rights law, and international humanitarian law.
Reiterating its call for global action, Maldives urged the international community to end Israel’s violations, activate accountability mechanisms, and ensure the safe, continuous, and unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid across all areas of the Gaza Strip.
Maldives reaffirmed its steadfast support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, stressing that a just and lasting resolution to the conflict can only be achieved through the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state, based on pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
