KickStart has developed a web app and an android app that shows where and when drinking water will be distributed in capital Malé.
“This application is designed to help Malé City inhabitants find water distribution centres، request for special assistance & report abuse while dealing with the current water scarcity situation in Male’،” the developer KickStart said on the Andriod app’s description.
“We hope this tool will enable citizens and authorities cooperate and collaborate with the relief effort،” the description further read.
The app features a map of Malé with pins on spots that currently distribute water، showing whether or not water is currently available، and how much، along with when water will be available next.
