President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih and First Lady Fazna Ahmed on Thursday morning departed on a four-day unofficial visit to Sri Lanka.
Several family members of President Solih and Madam Fazna reside in Sri Lanka. The first couple undertook a similar trip to Sri Lanka last year for the new year.
The President's Office said the couple will be returning to the Maldives on January 2.
