Jumhooree Party has appealed all people to cooperate with the government to help the Maldivian capital that is reeling from an acute shortage of drinking water after its lone desalination plant caught fire.
In a press release issued by the Jumhooree Party last night, the party called all people to unite and extend cooperation to the government in the efforts to resolve the water crisis.
Jumhooree Party stated that the party wants the crisis to be resolved as soon as possible and the people are relieved from this great difficulty that they are presently facing.
The party stated that lessons should be learned from this situation and plans should be made that so that the nation will not have to face any such situations in the future.
