A pastry course, specifically for women, has been conducted in Haa Alifu Murai’dhoo.
This course was organized jointly by the Murai’dhoo Council and the island’s Women’s Development Committee (WDC).
The pastry course, which ran from November 16, 2025, to November 24, 2025, concluded with a ceremony where certificates were awarded to the participants. A total of 17 women from the island successfully completed the course.
The course was taught by Mujuthaba Abdulla, an experienced facilitator from My Cakes and Sweets.
Participants learned how to prepare various types of pastries during the course.
This course is expected to provide women in Murai’dhoo with an additional opportunity to earn an income while working from home.
