The President’s Office has confirmed that working hours for the upcoming month of Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal will be from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm
The President's Office noted that this timing follows a standing policy established in recent years. This follows a directive issued in March 2022 stipulating that, beginning from Islamic year 1443, official working hours during every Ramadan and the first seven days of Shawwal would be fixed from 09:00 am to 01:00 pm
The government’s initiative to shorten the working hours for every Ramadan is with the intent of easing the burden on the employees and to promote appreciation for Islamic values and prioritise acts of worship.
The President’s Office also announced that government offices will be closed for the last ten days of Ramadan.
