The Bank of Maldives (BML) on Wednesday, March 15, announced application window for proposals under its Community Fund is now open.
This is the first phase of the Community Fund of 2023, and BML said it will select 10 projects from the proposals it receives. Similar to previous years, BML will fund a total of 20 projects this year as well.
The fund is open for registered non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to access funds up to MVR50,000 to implement projects in the areas of environment, education, sports, and community development.
The program was launched to empower NGOs to contribute to their communities through sustainable projects. The bank has provided funding for 80 projects across the country so far in the past 4 years.
The application submission deadline for its Community Fund’s 2023-first phase is April 15, 2023. Application forms and proposals should be mailed to community@bml.com.mv.
