President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on Wednesday ordered Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed to resign from his post.
As per the Spokesperson for the President and Chief Communications Strategist at President's Office Ibrahim Hood, staff from the Tourism Ministry reported to the Gender Ministry and President Solih incidents of misconduct within the workplace.
"Due to this, Minister of Tourism Ali Waheed has been ordered to resign from his post by the President," stated Hood.
Apart from the announcement by Hood, no other details have been revealed as of now.
