Maldives Monetary Authority has extended the deadline given to the Commercial Bank of Maldives to commence operations.
Information Officer of MMA said that the bank faced some difficulties in starting on time، and hence MMA has extended the deadline. Previously the bank was supposed to start operations on 15th September 2016. However MMA has changed the date to 26th September.
Famous business family، Champa brothers have shares in the bank. Also Commercial Bank of Ceylon has shares in the bank too.
