As part of his ongoing official visit to Malaysia, His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu visited the PETRONAS Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur today, where he explored the iconic building and learned about its architectural and cultural significance.
Upon arrival, the President was warmly welcomed by His Excellency Bacho Pilong, Senior Vice President of Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM) and given a guided tour of the Skybridge and the Observation Deck. During the tour, he was briefed on the architectural innovation and national importance of the towers.
The touring of cultural and heritage sites emphasises the role of cultural diplomacy and signifies the friendly ties between the two nations.
The President's visit to Malaysia reflects the close and enduring ties between the two countries and aims to further strengthen cooperation, enhance services for Maldivians residing in Malaysia, and address their concerns. Throughout the visit, he is accompanied by a high-level Government delegation.
