Two State Ministers at the Ministry of Tourism have been transferred to other ministries.
The transferred State Ministers are Ahmed Nazim Mohamed and Munnim Anees, Mihaaru News reports.
Nazim has been transferred tot he Ministry of Dhivehi Language, Culture and Heritage, while Munnim has been transferred tot he Ministry of Higher Education, Labour and Skills Development.
Reasons for the transfers are not known at this time, but both are close associates of former Minister of Tourism, Ibrahim Faisal, who was dismissed from his post last week.
