The charge pressed against the ousted Defence Minister Colonel (Retired) Mohamed Nazim is agitating certain csenior officials of Progressive Party of Maldives (PPM)، says the leader of Adhaalath Party، Sheikh Imran Abdulla.
Imran said today on a tweet that there are some senior officials of PPM aware of the truth about the ‘cruel’ allegations against Nazim. “These allegations are concerning them (PPM members)”، Imran said.

Former Minister Nazim was arrested Monday late night on the accusations that he is ‘plotting against the Government’ and with regards to the case of discovering dangerous weaponry at his residence on 18 January.
Sheikh Imran previously said he is sure that ‘Nazim will not plot an assassination in the desire for power’.
