Maldives Police Service has made a public appeal seeking assistance identifying two people inside a car involved in a hit-and-run.
The Police, on Thursday, publicized a video that shows both individuals.
They have requested anyone with information regarding the individuals to contact the Traffic Police Investigation at 9772111.
The accident took place in Hulhumale’.
According to the Police, the two individuals captured in the video are being sought for an ongoing investigation by Traffic Police Investigation. The case involves a collision between a car and a pickup truck at the roundabout near Vinares 1 in Hulhumalé Phase II, after which the individuals, who were in the car, fled the scene.
Police said their efforts to identify the individuals involved have so far been unsuccessful.
The video publicized by the Police shows a black car with significant damage to its front. The car is parked on a road in Hulhumale’ Phase II.
