President Abdulla Yameen has appointed Aminath Hussain Shareef appointed as Deputy Minister of Law and Gender.
Aminath Hussain Shareef is the daughter of Maafannu-Medhu MP, Asma Rasheed. She is also the sister of Minister at the President’s Office, Mohamed Hussain Shareef.
Aminath Hussain Shareef has previously served the UNDP in Maldives, and holds degrees in Psychology and Psychiatric Research.
