Maldives National University (MNU) Chancellor Dr. Mohamed Latheef has stated that MNU should take lessons from the success of Maldivian tourism and develop towards international standards.
He made the statement speaking in the ceremony held in University to recognize the achievements gained by the students of FHAM International Culinary Challenge.
Dr. Latheef stated that MNU must progress towards the standards of tourism in the country and become a regionally remarkable education institution.
Speaking to Miadhu News, Dr. Latheef said that students who had won international accolades in the tourism field have to be nationally recognized and given the proper accolades. He added that the University will always recognize the achievements made by students.
