Home Ministry has stated that the float parade will also be held next year. Deputy Minister for Home Ministry Ahmed Saleem stated that float parades used to be a hallmark of Independence Day celebrations, which had halted in the later years. He added that the float parade held this year, after a long period, was positively received by the members of the public.
Therefore, he said that the Ministry plans to hold another float parade in next year’s Independence Day celebrations.
While many attended the float parade the previous night, the crowds had not diminished for yesterday evening’s display. The attention of most children were on the MACL float depicting scenes from the loved Disney movie, Frozen.
