President Abdullah Yameen Abdul Qayyoom has stated that his Government will seek to fulfil all pledges made during elections and the pledges made since election.
He made the statement speaking in the ceremony held to launch two magazines in Muleeaage.
President Yameen said that some media have deliberately distorted the news of the Government in order to create mistrust among the public. He said that the work of the Government will be physically demonstrated. He also said that even though this message may not get translated across some media, the message will be clear when the mega projects of the Government are actualized.
He cited that many have attempted to falsify the Government’s Aasandha insurance scheme, even though the scheme had benefited those most in need. President Yameen added that they recipients were appreciative of the scheme.
