The Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Maldives, Her Excellency Rath Many, presented her Letter of Credence to His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu, at a ceremony held this morning at the President's Office.
The Ambassador was escorted to the President’s Office from Republic Square in a cultural procession, “Haiykolhu,” with the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) Drum and Trumpet Band.
Following the presentation of credentials, the President and the Ambassador discussed avenues for further strengthening bilateral ties, particularly in tourism, trade and investment.
Diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Cambodia were established on September 21, 1995.
