Bank of Maldives (BML) has introduced international money transfer service via their Mobile Banking application.
Customers with USD accounts registered at the bank can transfer money from their accounts to international accounts; up to USD3,000 per day.
Moreover, the bank claims this new service introduction will allow customers to transfer money to international banks and accounts easily without extra time consumption.
Furthermore, the international transfers are subject to a transfer fee. As such, transfers between USD50.00 to USD500.00 are subject to a fee of USD5.00 and transfers between USD500.00 to USD1000.00 will have a fee of USD8.00.
In addition to this, transfers between USD1000.00 to USD3000.00 will be subject to a fee of USD12.00.
