Bank of Maldives (BML) on Friday donated to Family Legal Clinic and Women In Tech to mark International Women's Day.
At a special ceremony held at BML Head Office, Deputy CEO Aishath Noordeen handed over the financial donations to the two organizations that were selected for their role in empowering women in the society.
While speaking at the ceremony, Aishath Noordeen stated that these donations would help women in society to grow and progress.
Several female staffs of BML took part in this event which donated MVR 46,000 to each organization.
The donations are to be utilized for organizing various programs run by the Family Legal Clinic and Women In Tech.
Family Legal Clinic provides legal consultations and raises awareness in the areas of family law and prevention of domestic violence law.
Womenintechmv is a non-profit organisation established to celebrate and empower women in science and technology.
The Deputy CEO sent International Women's Day greetings to all women across Maldives.
