MNDF has said that the fireworks display last night celebrating Children’s day took place with all of the safety precautions. Media Official of MNDF, Adnaan Mohamed told Sun Media today that the firework display last night at Raalhugandu area took place with the area closed and with the proper safety precautions. And they are investigating the incident that some people in the area got burned. “The fireworks were held after taking the distance and closing off the area with the gunpowder cylinders. But some people got injured and we are investigating it. We’ll know the cause of the incident after the investigation.” Adnaan said. Three people were injured at the fireworks display last night. The father and son injured last night has been released from IGM hospital after treatment while the second minor has also been released after treatment from Senahiyaa hospital.
