Economic Minister Muhammad Saeed have said that Maldives is attaining economic development through the hard work and participation of women.
Speaking at the Heevagi Kanbalun Expo 2017 the minister said that even though women are not active in all areas of the work force all sort works are being done with the participation of women.
The minister said that men are able to go work because the women manage the affairs of the home. Hence he said that men are able to work with the participation of women.
In addition he said that women of Maldives has shown that they are talented through the expo. He said that the government will continue to assist women in developing their talents.
The minister also said that it is a vital component of the president's manifesto to increase participation of women in developing the nation and that it will be implemented.
