Umar Naseer have said that it is possible that he might have to run in the 2018 presidential elections on another party’s ticket.
Umar said that he would like to conduct a primary in PPM and then run as PPM candidate. However he said that he does not believe that PPM will conduct a primary and the next option is to run as an independent candidate. He said that the last option would be to run on another party’s ticket. He said that, it might happen through a coalition.
“Like I said before, my name will be on the ballot paper. That is for sure. But running on another party’s ticket is a possibility. That might happen” said Umar.
Recently Umar visited UK and met with Dr.Jameel, some former ministers and former chairperson of MDP, Ali Waheed.
