Bank of Maldives on Sunday, July 31, announced its support to the Maldives National Museum as part of the series of 12 high impact monthly community initiatives to celebrate the Bank’s 40th anniversary in November.
Under the initiative, the bank will be supporting the care, preservation, and display of the National Museum’s collection, BML said, adding that this will include the upgrading of its conservation and preservation laboratory as well as the development of interactive content to encourage public engagement and attract visitors to the Museum.
BML’s In-charge and Acting MD, Aishath Noordeen commented that the National Museum is an important institution that preserves our national history for future generations.
BML noted that the initiative is their ninth event as part of their 40th anniversary celebration. The bank have previously announced 8 initiatives since November 2021:
