Political party dialogues will be fruitful only when started without any demands: Qasim Ibrahim

Maldives King maker, The leader of Jumuhoory Party (JP) Qasim Ibrahim have said that the political party dialogues will be successful only when the opposition parties join the dialogues without any demands.
Speaking at the national council meeting of JP, Qasim Ibrahim said that if political parties are making demands in advance, it will not be possible to start the dialogues. He said that, hence it is very important to start the dialogues without any demands and then try to find solution for the grievances through the dialogue.
Even CMAG urged the opposition to start the dialogues without any demands.
Opposition MDP and Adhalath Party have said that they are not making any demands but they will start the dialogue only with a representative of Commonwealth.
The head of the government’s delegation for the dialogues, Fisheries Minister Dr.Muhammad Shainee said that he expects to start the dialogues in mid-October.
