Sobah Rasheed has requested all people to dedicate May 1 for the nation.
He made this remark speaking at yesterday night’s public rally of the “Maldivians against tyranny” movement.
Sobah said that all days of the year are spent for personal things and the nation is now calling for the people to spend one day for its cause. He said that it is a national responsibility and an obligation upon everyone from the citizenry of Maldives.
Sobah said that no foreign investors will come to invest in the Maldives regardless of the false dreams shown by the current government.
Sobah said that the port development programs of the government are all a farce and a deception. He said that such programs will not benefit the people but will benefit the pockets of two or three leaders of the ruling PPM.
“It will only benefit Adheeb and PPM Parliamentary Group leader Ahmed Nihan. When Dubai World people came Nihan took them to Muleeaage and showed members of PPM as the Majlis members,” he said
Sobah raised questions regarding the validity of the investments of Dubai World if they were taken to Muleeage and met with PPM Parliamentary Group members.
