The 37th national Quran recitation competition has been opened for registration.
According to the National Quran Center, the competition is open to local councils, schools and associations. The registration of institutions and associations will precede the registration of their representing individuals, it said.
The opportunity to register institutions and associations interested in participating in the competition is open from 18 to 29 June. Registrations must be submitted through the government online platform ‘onegov’ portal.
The competition is split into the category of recitation, the category of recitation by heart, hafiz category and the institutions and associations category.
The National Quran Recitation Competition has been held by the government since 1981 and it is organised to encourage the love of reciting the Holy Quran in the hearts of individuals.
