A new swimming track has been established in Kulhudhuffushi City, which regularly hosts numerous swimming competitions.
This swimming track was set up in the Boziyaaraith area of Kulhudhuffushi City.
The Swimming Association stated on Saturday that the work to install this swimming track has been successfully completed.
The Association also mentioned that this project was carried out with the initiative and financial assistance of the Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation.
“We extend our sincere gratitude and congratulations to the energetic teams from the Kulhudhuffushi City Council, Public Works Unit, MNDF, and Maldives Police Service for their cooperation and dedication in completing this work,” the Swimming Association said.
The Association noted that the efforts of these parties played a very important role in providing this valuable new facility to the public.
The Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation also acknowledged and thanked these parties for their assistance in establishing the track.
The Ministry of Sports, Fitness and Recreation stated that with the establishment of this facility in Kulhudhuffushi City, which already hosts many swimming competitions, numerous opportunities will open up for advancement in the field of swimming, paving the way for building a healthy community.
