The Chinese Embassy donated a PCR machine and Covid-19 testing kits to Tree Top Hospital.
Chinese Ambassador to the Maldives Wang Lixin handed the donations to the hospital. The hospital’s Chief Executive Officer Adil Moosa and Managing Director Ahmed Nazeer received the donations.
Tree Top Hospital CEO thanked the Chinese government for its continued assistance in the Maldivian health sector’s development. Adil also thanked China for its support during the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
The hospital’s Managing Director affirmed Tree Top’s priority is providing top-class services to patients. He added the hospital came to fruition from four major tourism companies in the Maldives pursuing the dream of medical industry development.
The Chinese ambassador assured her country will continue to support the growth of the Maldivian health sector. She also hoped the donations will improve the service standards of the hospital.
