Increase of Saudi investment in Maldive based ventures، was a prime topic discussed between King Salman bin Abdul Azeez Al-Saud and President of Maldives Yameen Abdul Gayoom، over an official visit of the latter to Saudi Arabia on the invitation of King Salman.
According to the spokesperson of President’s Office، Ibrahim Muaz Ali، the two leaders had sat down to discuss about the investment opportunities in Maldives، and focused on increasing and development of various investment projects among other crucial subjects relevant to various development projects being discussed.
In addition، Muaz had also mentioned in his tweet، the two countries had discussed on Saudi Arabia’s contribution to help in development projects carried in Maldives.
During official talks held، Saudi King had expressed his wish to establish an embassy of Saudi Arabia in Maldives.
