Masakazu Hamachi, Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan has stated that Maldives was a beautiful country, expressing his desire to visit again and experience all that the country had to offer.
He made the statement speaking in the official function held on the occasion of the opening of the Japanese Embassy in Maldives, held in Dharubaaruge Monday night.
Hamachi said that this was his first trip to the Maldives. He added that this visit was a short visit, and as such, he was unable to experience the country to the fullest. Hamachi pledged to visit again, praising the beauty of the nation.
He said that the relationship between the two countries will always develop, noting that the relationship is now one that had developed between the citizens of the two countries.
Hamachi assured that Japan will provide any assistance as and when needed, adding that Japan will always be a partner in development for the Maldives.
