Police have arrested another individual from Addu City for allegedly sexually abusing the 14-year old girl continuously over a period of time.
 
A 71 year-old local male has been arrested at 17:00، yesterday following a court order.
The case was filed by Addu City’s Family and Children Service Center on 26th May.
Five individuals were arrested in Addu City on 1st June for sexually abusing the girl.
Police said that under a court order an 81-year-old، a 77-year-old، a 56-year-old، a 32-year-old، and an 18-year-old male have been arrested in the case. The arrestees have been remanded for 15 days.
“Vaguthu” has learned that the arrestees of the case include the father and a brother of the girl.
