A twenty-seven year old has been injured in a dangerous road collision which occurred in Fuvahmulak tonight، at around 00:00.
Police said the youth injured as the motorbike lost control after hitting a bumper، adding that the motorbike was speeding west to east on “Muhammad Jamaluddin Naib Thutthu Magu”.
The twenty seven year old male was alone on the motorbike when it skid. He has been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Reports say the youth sustained injuries to left leg and right arm. Though no information was disclosed from the hospital as the victim was under treatment.
A deadly accident tonight at Hulhumale’ claimed a life of a 22 year old، injured another youth. Another deadly accident in Fuvahmulak last week claimed a life of an elderly and injured a youth.
Rate of road accidents have been increasing during Ramadan.
