Four Seasons internship program – 47 interns graduates and this year’s program begins with 63 interns!

Four Seasons’ internship program has ended and 47 interns graduated this year. They have started this year’s program with 63 new interns.
A ceremony was held yesterday morning to graduate last year’s interns and to announce this year’s interns. The chief guests of the ceremony were Environment Minister Thoriq Ibrahim and the Regional Vice President of Four Seasons Amondo.
The apprentice program of Four Seasons has 1 year and 2-year study options. Among the newly graduated students 43 students completed the one year course and 4 students completed the 2-year course.
Amondo noted the importance of participation in the program after completing A-levels. He said that awareness should be increased among parents and in the levels of the government. In addition, he said that like previous year more than 500 students applied for the program. He also said that he is sad that some students left the program without completing it.
The internship program of Four Seasons is the first program like this in Maldives. It began in 2001. So far 488 students have completed the program. Minister Thoriq noted this and thanked Four Seasons and Aamondo.
Two students completed diploma in Marine Biology this year. No other resorts in Maldives teaches marine biology to a diploma level in Maldives.
