President Dr Mohamed Muizzu and Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), has discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation and explored avenues for collaboration in key sectors, during a courtesy call held on Sunday at the President’s Office.
During the call, President Dr Muizzu warmly welcomed Director General Al Suwaidi and his delegation, expressing appreciation for their visit to the Maldives to witness the Independence Day celebrations and attend the inauguration of the new terminal at Velana International Airport. Al Suwaidi conveyed his delight at witnessing the successful completion of the airport project.
The two sides further discussed opportunities to enhance cooperation and explored prospects for strengthening collaboration in key development sectors. The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to shared values and aspirations, and expressing optimism for the future of bilateral relations.
