3rd International Teachers’ Conference commencing next month

National Institute of Education (NIE) has announced that the third International a Teachers’ Conference will be held from 1st September 2015 to 2nd September 2015.
After the ceremony to sign the agreement with the media partner of this conference، DhiTV، Minister of State for Education Adam Shareef Umar told the media that the main aim of this conference is to share findings and different experiences of the field of education.
The main theme of the third International Teachers’ Conference held in Maldives this year is “Technology enabled learning environment”. In this conference، how to effectively teach in the 21st century، advancing the teaching techniques using technology، achievements of different countries in the field of teaching and information about international researches will be highlighted upon.
Moreover، how to carry out teaching in such a way that no child gets left behind and how to involve each and every single child in a holistic education will also be discussed in this conference.
Hosted by Maldives National University، this conference will distribute papers about a research on teaching in single-sessioned schools and a research on the opinions of senior managements of schools about prefessional development programmes، says NIE.
This conference will be attended by 30 foreigners and they will distribute papers as well. Some of these people include experts from regional countries and experts from one of Malaysia’s universities.
While Maldivian participants are also supposed to present papers at this conference، a total of 200 people from the field of education will take part from Maldives in this conference.
