Maldivian Democratic Party announces the provisional result of the party’s election. 
The election with less competitiveness، the provisional results show that former President Mohamed Nasheed who ran for President has received 33،709 votes، which is 58.9% of total voters of 55،203.
Former Thoddoo MP Ali Waheed who ran for Vice President received 26،033 votes and former Baarah MP Mohamed Shifaz who also ran for Vice President received 21،052 votes.
Election was held on Friday from 16:00 to 20:00 in Male’ and in the islands. Final results will be announced، MDP informs.
