MDP has finalized a candidate from the party who will run for the vacant seat of Dhiggaru constituency under their ticket.
MDP-backed candidate was finalized without the planned MDP primary to elect a possible candidate to run for Dhiggaru constituency when Ibrahim Jihad، M. Three A Villa had withdrawn his name off the MDP Primary candidates list، thus making Ahmed Razi the only other candidate in primary win by default.
By-elections of Dhiggaru constituency is slated to take place on 6th June 2015.
Faris Maumoon، State Minister of Economic Minister will be competing for the same seat from government-side.
