Maldives Expo 2025 kicks off with over 3,000 exhibits

Maldives Expo 2025, organized by Business Centre Corporation (BCC) in collaboration with Economic Ministry, has kicked off on Friday night with over 3,000 exhibits.
The Expo at Central Park, Hulhumale’, the largest exhibition of the nature in the country, was inaugurated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu.
He was accompanied by First Lady Sajidha Ahmed.
Following the inauguration, the First Couple toured the event stalls which showcases and celebrates Maldivian creativity, innovation, entertainment and entrepreneurship.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by Economic Minister Mohamed Saeed, other cabinet ministers and senior officials from various government institutes.

A five-minute firework display was held to mark the opening of the Expo which is designed to give a wider platform to market and encourage Maldivian entrepreneurs.
The exhibition features 83 participants, showcasing local creativity across 14 categories and 82 sub- subcategories. Participants represented islands from all atolls. Among all the participants, B. Thulhaadho submitted the most entries to the exhibition.
Maldives Expo 2025 Award Ceremony was held last night where the President presented awards to top scorers in various categories, including the Golden Prize awarded to the five highest-scoring exhibits at the Expo. A total of 275 awards were presented at the ceremony. 
The exhibition will be held from May 23rd to May 31, at Central Park, Hulhumalé, from 16:00pm to 18:00pm and 20:00pm to 23:00pm.
