Islamic Ministry Launches ‘Haaji MV’ App to Support Hajj and Umrah Pilgrims

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs has officially launched a dedicated mobile application named “Haaji MV”, aimed at making Hajj and Umrah guidance more accessible and user-friendly. The app was inaugurated by the State Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dr Moosa Anwar Hassan.
According to the Ministry, the Haaji MV is designed to provide pilgrims with verified, Ministry-approved information about performing Hajj and Umrah. Key features of the app include step-by-step guides for rituals like Tawaf and Sa’i, dhikr counters to help track daily remembrances, authentic duas from the Quran and Sunnah, informative videos on Hajj and Umrah procedures as well as historical insights about Makkah and Madina.
This marks the first version of the app, which is now available on the Google Play Store, with plans underway to release it on the Apple App Store soon.
The app eliminates the need to carry printed prayer books and guidebooks, offering everything a pilgrim needs directly on their mobile device. The Ministry confirms that all content has been verified and approved, and the app will continue to be enhanced in future updates.
